Regency High Dependency Care Seating

The Regency™ Care Chair was first launched in 1987, and revolutionised high dependency seating, enabling more and more patients to be sat out in comfort, and therefore mobilised sooner. The Regency™ range then developed into the Sertain® range, which is a fully electric, advanced interpretation of the original Regency™ concept. The Regency™ RR2400 and R2900 are used within many high dependency settings, such as HDU, Coronary Care, Respiratory, Huntington's Disease, Motor Neurones, MS, frail elderly and dementia.

The ability to lie the Regency™ chairs flat, and even into a trendelenburg position, means that within the ITU and HDU environment, emergency procedures such as intubation, can be carried out within the chair, negating a time consuming and risky transfer to bed or the floor.
