Servicing and Repairs

Care-Med has a well-equipped service and repair department, carrying out both workshop and on-site repairs and servicing for:

  • Specialist Seating
  • Profiling Beds
  • Air Mattresses

Our technicians are factory trained and DBS checked, and all items we service and/or repair are entered into a digital asset register; timely automatic reminders for next service due are issued to assist you and your residents or patients in keeping safe and compliant. We are a fully equipped Linak service centre, and utilise the Linak Service Data Software tool for accurate reporting on actuator lifecycle, loads / overloads and fault analysis.

Care-Med holds ISO9001:2008 and Safecontractor accreditation.  We are also participants in the MHRA registration scheme.

Gold Service Scheme

Each level of servicing scheme is available as a subscription type product (where the annual cost is broken down into a monthly payment) or as a one-off / once-a-year purchase order. Gold is our highest level of service and includes a generous allowance for callouts and parts, so offers a fixed maintenance and repair cost, and peace of mind.

Silver Service Scheme

Each level of servicing scheme is available as a subscription type product (where the annual cost is broken down into a monthly payment) or as a one-off / once-a-year purchase order. Silver is our medium level of service and includes an allowance for callouts and parts, so offers a fixed maintenance and repair cost, and peace of mind.

Bronze Service Scheme

Each level of servicing scheme is available as a subscription type product (where the annual cost is broken down into a monthly payment) or as a one-off / once-a-year purchase order. Bronze is our most popular level of service cover and is a routine annual maintenance and safety check.
